If you are looking for good wine tastings, you will find a variety of public offers, as well as bespoke and just the traditional show up on a Sunday and sit together for a glass or two tastings.
Santa Catarina (Es Capdella) – every Sunday the doors open from 11am to 2pm for the public to visit the bodega, understand the history and tradition of this vineyard and of course, to taste the wines, sit on one of their benches outside, have some cheese and bread and just enjoy. More of a chatty, cosy get together then a proper tour. No need to reserve.
Macia Batle (Santa Maria del Cami) – One of Mallorca’s biggest bodegas. They offer various tours with different timings, dependent on the month. Check them on their website. Best to call for a reservation.
Castell Miguel (Artá) – high up in Artá, you find a picturesque castle overlooking the village with wine tradition. The building is just as much worth a visit as the vineyard. Open Monday to Friday 10:00 – 17:00 and for groups of 10 and more they do tours on request. They usually host a Christmas Market each year.
Son Prim (Sencelles) – Large bodega within the centre of the island, you can reserve your visits directly on their website.
Blanca Terra (Montuïri) - A small winery that with its few years of life has already won several national and international awards for its wines. They offer wine tastings of their Mallorcan wines.
Companies like “Mallorca Wine Tours” or “Wine routes Mallorca” offer a variety of different tours:
Train gourmet tour, cycle tour with pick up anywhere on the island, Palma wine tour or VIP experiences for 2, helicopter tour or champagne and wine on the yacht - they cater for any need. Groups or individuals will enjoy a unique wine day in Mallorca with them.
