Cycling Mallorca: 4 trophies – 25th anniversary

Cycling Mallorca sun mountains and sea seem to be made for each other. For the 25th time in a row, Mallorca will be host location to one of the very first professional cycling races in 2016 worldwide. Between blossoming almond trees, along the coastline, right within the Sierra de Tramuntana and through the capital Palma de Mallorca will be the paths for the participants cycling Mallorca.

The 4 trophies of Mallorca is an incredibly challenging race of 4 consecutive days. The Pro Teams amongst which Movistar Team, Sky Team or the Great Britain National Team are lined up from 28th January 2016 to 31st January 2016 and will allow all residents and visitors of Mallorca to watch them fly along the streets.

Each of the trophies is actually an independent, individual race and each team can decide to participate in all 4 or in just a few of them. Please find a summary of the information below and feel free to be part of the event as a visitor and supporter of cycling Mallorca:

In total cyclists will conquer 642km in 4 days. The 4 routes take the cyclists along some of the most beautiful spots of the Island and while surely they are far too busy to focus on the landscape, we are convinced that only Mallorca’s beauty, the great quality of cycling roads and the perfect climate could attract such a high class cycling line up for 25 years in a row.

For further information please visit the official website of the "Trofeo de Mallorca" (only in Spanish).

For a full list of the teams please have a look at the wikipedia entry.
